New Online Book Auction Site – Mynotera
The online book auction site Mynotera was recently brought to my attention, and after a couple passes through this week, seems to have a number of interesting books and ephemera for sale on a regular basis. The site is simple, well laid out and seemingly very focused on books, stamps, postcards and other paper ephemera. I haven’t had the chance to delve into the seller side of the site yet, but it looks like there are currently no listing fees and they take only a 5% cut of the final price. Sounds pretty reasonable to me, particularly compared to Ebay’s bevvy of fees and charges.
The only downside is, being a relatively new site, it is a little low on the content side. But the content available is generally all interesting and decent stuff which is enjoyable to browse through without have to wade through a quagmire of cheap paperbacks and other garage sale type material. Hopefully the site continues to build and the solid content along with it.
A site definitely worth keeping an eye for unearthing some fun books and other scarcities.
