Rare Inscribed Sherlock Holmes Book up for Auction
Perhaps one of the rarest treasures of modern literature will hit the auction block this summer at Sotheby’s. The copy of A Study In Scarlet, the debut novel by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, is one of only two inscribed examples known to exist, and the first to ever be auctioned, is expected to fetch over $600k.
